Terms of Service

Welcome to GaleraHub. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the GaleraHub website and services (the "Platform"). By accessing or using GaleraHub, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. What GaleraHub is

GaleraHub is a local marketplace and directory for Puerto Galera. We help people and businesses list hotels, property, vehicles, tours, jobs, services and items, and connect directly with one another. GaleraHub is a venue and a facilitator — we are not a party to any transaction between users, we do not own or sell the listed items, and we do not handle payments between buyers and sellers.

2. Eligibility & your account

• You must be at least 18 years old, or of legal age to enter into a contract in the Philippines.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.

3. Listings & seller responsibilities

If you post a listing, you represent that:

• You have the right to sell, rent or offer what you list, and the listing is accurate and not misleading.
• Prices, fees, transfer costs and disclosures you provide are truthful to the best of your knowledge.
• You will comply with all applicable Philippine laws, including tax, business permit, and property-transfer requirements.

Disclosures such as transfer costs, elevation and access are seller-provided information, not verified facts, and not tax or legal advice.

4. Prohibited content & conduct

You may not use GaleraHub to:

• Post illegal, fraudulent, counterfeit, stolen or misrepresented items or services.
• Post content that is defamatory, harassing, hateful, obscene, or that infringes someone else’s rights.
• Impersonate others, create fake reviews, or manipulate ratings.
• Scrape, spam, distribute malware, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the Platform.

5. Transactions between users

Deals happen directly between buyers and sellers. GaleraHub does not guarantee the quality, safety, legality or availability of any listing, nor the honesty of any user. Always inspect in person, verify documents, and never pay in advance for something you have not seen. 6. Fees

Basic listing on GaleraHub is free. Some optional promotional features (for example, boosting a listing) may carry a fee, which will be shown before you purchase. GaleraHub does not charge a commission on deals arranged between users.

7. Reviews & the content you post

Reviews must reflect genuine, first-hand experience. You retain ownership of the content you post, but you grant GaleraHub a non-exclusive licence to host, display and distribute it on the Platform for the purpose of operating the service. We may remove content that violates these Terms.

8. Verification & badges

Badges such as "Verified seller" or "Confirmed" indicate a check we performed (for example, ID verification or an on-site visit). They are a signal of trust, not a guarantee of a seller’s conduct or a listing’s accuracy. Use your own judgement.

9. Reporting & moderation

You can report any listing or user. We review reports and may remove content, or suspend accounts, at our discretion. We are not obligated to monitor all content but act on what is reported.

10. Intellectual property

The GaleraHub name, logo, design and software are owned by GaleraHub and its operator. You may not copy or reuse them without permission.

11. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that listings are accurate, that users are trustworthy, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GaleraHub and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from a transaction or interaction between users. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Platform is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months before the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify GaleraHub against claims and losses arising from your listings, your conduct, or your breach of these Terms.

14. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Platform in a way that harms other users or GaleraHub. You may stop using GaleraHub at any time.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date. Continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Disputes are subject to the proper courts of the Philippines.
